Hi, I'm trying to start a project using a STM32F7 and TouchGFX in STMCube - however it won't let me enable TouchGFX libraries without first enabling FMC External RAM. In my case the Microcontroller has enough internal RAM for 1 or even 2 framebuffers, so I don't want to enable FMC.

The structure of TouchGFX Applications are so that the GUI will run on top of any HAL (Target HAL or Simulator HAL - SDL2 HAL). So, the "Run simulator" button from TouchGFX Designer will invoke a call to compile and link against an SDL2 platform while your CubeIDE project will link against a concrete library for some MCU family.

The example seems to involve CMake and Kinetis KSDK, but I am not sure if this is needed for a TouchGFX project for EVAL-STM32H743I board? Anyway, I tried the example and basically used all default settings but it did not compile.. Any special hints for a STM32? October 10, 2021 at 23:03 #31490.

I copied the custom container (both the gui_generated container files and the gui container files) files themselves to the new project. Then used a merging tool to merge the custom container text in the TouchGFX project file from the original file to the new project file.

Hi, I'm using keil MDK V5.34 and touchGFX V 4.16.1 , I made a minimal project with these settings using LTDC, and a simple default project, But the problem is that when the MX_TouchGFX_Process is called, the MCU crashes! what's going on wrong? any Ideas and here is the default code,

Since STMicroelectronics bought TouchGFX and integrate the graphical stack into the toolchain STM32CubeIDE, this application must be updated to the new toolchain. Motivation This oscilloscope is built based on the STM32F746-DISCO kit from STMicroelectronics to demonstrate the processing capability of a Cortex-M7 Microcontroller.
The code I developed on this project can be found here. Note: I was using TouchGFX Designer v4.15 along with CubeMX v6.1. By the time I have finished editing this post, TouchGFX rolled out the version 4.16. Hopefully, nothing crucial has changed. My setup. I was using a board I had lying around, Nucleo-F411RE.
