Led puck lights flickering

Does anyone know why LED lights flicker? Some of the old bulbs (912's) we placed with LED flicker. But the biggest problem (and most expensive) is that all four of the recessed puck LED lights I installed above the sink flicker a LOT.

In two locations, the puck lights flicker or go on/off on a one second cycle when turned on with a Caseta on/off switch. The puck lights I am using are Liteline LED Puck 1.8 W per light 3000 K warm light. In the location that works, the Caseta switch controls the LED puck lights as well as some standard 4" spotlights.
It seems that the main difference between an LED "driver" and a DC transformer is that the "driver" is electronic. I bet an LED puck light would have all the resisters on a circuit board. Most puck kits come with a transformer, but if you add extra pucks or combine kits, you need a DC transformer (or driver) the right size. S.

I'm using bi pin hockey puck style lights, but I replaced the halogen bulbs with the lower voltage, longer lasting, cooler running, LED bulbs. The bulbs flicker, very slightly, it's subtle but it's enough to make me crazy. My wife can barely notice the flickering, but Ic an and I can't live with them as they are. They are on a regular light switch and are hard wired and are all inline together, there is no dimmer used with these lights.
